Mississippi First Lady Visits

On May 15, 2023, Saltillo Elementary School welcomed First Lady of Mississippi Elee Reeves, who presented fourth graders a copy of her activity book, "Mississippi's Fred the Turtle." The book follows Fred the Turtle on his journey around Mississippi and some of its historic places and landmarks.

While on campus, Mrs. Reeves toured the Lee County Impressions Elementary Art Show. She also congratulated fifth graders, who were celebrating their graduation from the elementary school.
