6th grade Social Studies integrated ceramics into the classroom after learning about the Minoan civilization which was known for its architecture and art. Symbols were drawn by the students on a clay platter they felt represented them the best. The lesson was led by student-teacher Aleigha McDonald in Ms. Dees classroom.
