Art students at Saltillo High made the short trip to Saltillo Primary with a big surprise for pre-K!
During the spring semester, the high school art classes created "pottery monsters" based on the drawings of about 20 pre-K students in Mrs. Cherry's classroom. Mrs. McCrory and Mr. Thornton's high school art students used the drawings as a guide to complete their projects, which were presented to the younger students.
Pre-K was thrilled to see the monsters they had on paper "come to life" and become tangible objects! Great job by all.
