Some Guntown Middle School students had an exciting week when they attended the National Junior Beta Convention in Savannah, Georgia!
Club sponsors Abby Mauney and Diane Floyd, along with a group of parents, took students who placed at the state convention to compete on the national level. Student competitions included drawing, solo dance, musicology, collaboration/connection, fiber arts, recycled art, sculpture, club portfolio, club pins, and woodworking.
Emlianne Owens placed FIRST in Drawing and fourth in On-site Drawing. Zoey Conwill placed FIRST in Woodworking and received the Best in Show Award. Congratulations!
