Verona Elementary honored breast cancer survivors and those who are currently fighting the disease with a special event at the school.
Students, teachers, staff and guests watched as each class released lanterns. The school dressed in PINK -- a color that has become synonymous with breast cancer awareness and support for all those affected by it.
