Newly elected Lee County School Board District 3 member Mark Simpson took the oath of office Monday afternoon ahead of his first meeting. Mr. Simpson fills the seat most recently held by Mrs. Pam Tharp, who did not run for re-election.
Lee County Chancery Clerk Bill Benson administered the oath, as family members marked the special occasion. We welcome Mr. Simpson to the district!
